Northern Quarter staple Aatma open their doors for a celebration of all things shoegaze this October, when Dreaming Tracks Festival host a range of hypnagogic pop and indie acts. Fans can look forward to a visit from highly imaginative alt-rock outfit Hideka, who have developed a cult following in their native Japan since releasing eponymous debut album back in 2008. Possessing a strong following on the Lisbon indie scene, 80s synth duo Bluish (formally known as Veer) will also appear, along with the lo-fi sonic signature of enigmatic duo Veladrome. Attendees can also look forward to a crop of local talent on the bill, with performances from dreampop songsmith Daniel Land, Stockport cohort Sequin Sally and Mancunian outfit Purple Heart Parade. Doors open at 4pm, with Veladrome getting proceedings underway at 5pm.

Sat 20 Oct, Aatma, 11 Stevenson Square, Manchester, M1 1DB, 4pm, £10, www.dreamingtracksfestival.co.uk
