The Manchester Gin and Rum Festival is back, taking place between Friday 27 and Saturday 28 March 2020. For the uninitiated, this two-day event is not just a boozy weekender but an opportunity to sample the best spirits on the planet right here in the North West. There will be over 60 different types of rum and gin on offer, located at the Manchester Cathedral in the centre of the city. There will also be live music and a range of street-food, so you will be well catered for during your visit. Rum and gin fans won’t leave with just a hangover though, as your ticket price also includes a Copa glass, a Gin and Rum festival satchel and a Gin and Rum guide. Bobby Nanua, founder of the festival, said: “I am delighted to have the Gin and Rum Festival returning to Manchester after the success of the sold-out event last year. We have had a fantastic year in 2019 hosting the festival in over 30 cities. It is a great pleasure to bring the festival back to Manchester and this year it will be even bigger and better!” Tickets can be purchased via the Gin and Rum Festival website with sneak peaks and special competitions on the Facebook.
