Dunham Massey’s award-winning gardens are one of the region’s highlights – and they’re even better on a long summer evening with live music and a drink in hand. Visitors usually have to be at home long before the sun sets, however, for two consecutive summer nights, the gardens are staying open later than usual. Live music, drinks and nibbles are on offer, alongside the chance to explore the garden’s ever-changing landscape of rare and beautiful flowers, plants and trees away from the maddening crowd. Normal admission to the garden applies, National Trust members are free. Additional costs applies to food and drink and payment is by cash only in the gardens.
Fri 10 & Fri 17 Jun, Dunham Massey, Woodhouse Lane, Altrincham WA14 4SJ. 5.30-8pm, prices vary, www.nationaltrust.org.uk
