Band On The Wall are teaming up with Manchester Psych Fest to host Aussie garage rock duo DZ Deathrays, following the release of their third acclaimed album ‘Bloody Lovely’ earlier this year. Formed in 2008 to play house parties in their native Brisbane (their first raucous EP ‘Ruined My Life’ was recorded live at a house party) they’ve made their way to the top of the Aussie rock scene, producing heavy, fuzz-drenched rock with catchy riffs you’ll struggle to get out of your head. The pair have developed a large cult following with a track record of throwing excellent, adrenaline-fuelled gigs, balancing distortion and noise in perfect harmony. Though regulars on the international festival circuit, trips to our shores are rare so don’t miss a chance to catch the multi-ARIA Award winning two-piece in the flesh at the Swan Street venue. To celebrate, the band are giving away a signed ‘Bloody Lovely’ vinyl LP to one lucky fan. To be in with a chance of winning, pick up tickets for the show and you will automatically be entered in to the prize draw. Winner announced on Thu 23 Aug. Existing ticket buyers will also be added to the prize draw.
