Straddling both city centre and suburbs like a musical giant, you can take your pick between DJs playing at two of Manchester’s best-loved bars on Easter Sunday. Chorlton-based craft beer bar, The Beagle, welcomes the vinylphiles from Living Room Dance Club to connect needle with wax. Ailsa McLaggan and Anna Budrys will be making Easter Sunday into Easter Funday with their aptly named, Slack Sabbath party. Expect a sweet blend of soul, funk, jazz and more. Up in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, Common bar will host a afternoon and evening of sun-drenched Balearic beats courtesy of the hugely popular Aficionado DJs, resurrecting the chilled out island vibe ahead of summer.
