A collection of Manchester’s favourite food and drink names will gather in Platt Fields Market Garden this spring, with all profits going to Eat Well MCR.
Taking place on Sun 1 May, the fair will be a celebration of delicious food and drink alongside DJs, workshops and kids activities.
Funds from the event will help Eat Well MCR kick on with their admirable mission of delivering chef-made meals to those living in poverty across Greater Manchester.
Already confirmed are low intervention wine experts Wines Under the Bonnet and Otros Vinos, brewing favourites Pomona Island, cocktails and alcohol-free botanicals from Into the Gathering Dusk, and wine and snacks from the pioneering feminist supper club, Suppher.
Isca, Blackbird Pantry, MUD Kitchen and Umezushi will all be on hand to keep visitors fuelled up, along with indulgent ice cream from Gingers Comfort Emporium.
There’ll be DJ sets from Living Room Dance Club and the Moder Grooves Collective, while Let’s Get Muddy will be providing free kids activities throughout the day.
Caroline Dubois (Isca/Where the Light Gets In) and Into the Gathering Dusk will be hosting workshops and tasting as well as a Platt Fields Market Garden tasting tour.
Finally, the fair will have a special pop up collaborative restaurant from Samual Munstermann (Head Chef Where the Light Gets In), Joshua Al-Kazhraji (Head Chef Coin Hebden), Emily Rose Lucas (Restaurant Manager Where the light Gets In / Former GM The Creameries) and Amber Diggle (Coin Hebden / Former GM The Moorcock).
Tickets are just £10 (£5 to concessions and free to under 16s). You can grab yours using the button below.
