Edinburgh hot ticket Trumpageddon lands in Waterside at the end of the month, Sale being the latest stop-off on the show’s UK tour before heading to the Adelaide Fringe in February. A one-hander, created by and starring British comedian Simon Jay, Trumpageddon enjoyed a sell-out premiere at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe (when Donald Trump was just a US Presidential candidate, free world leadership a mere glint in his eye), returning to a second sold-out run last year and needing to add nine extra performances. The man himself may not now be gracing the UK with his presence (his choice – nothing to do with the 1,862,364-strong petition against a state visit from him), but Trumpageddon might give you a flavour of what could have been – and you get to play a part, during a quickfire Q&A. One man’s absurdist satirical vision on one man’s absurd world vision: expect hysteria, in all senses of the word. For more events at Waterside click here.
