El Diablo’s has been a staple brand on the Manchester club circuit for a number of years now, having gained a solid reputation for disco and deep house inspired hedonistic clubbing. Along with the respected (and sadly departed) Electric Chair, El Diablo’s was the place to go for the serious, deep groove-seeking dance enthusiast. So it’s appropriate that this Saturday El Diablo’s kicks off its 10th birthday celebrations by presenting one of the city’s finest current dance exports, Crazy P. Performing a stripped down ‘Crazy P Soundsystem’ set, Crazy P mix a blend of unashamedly glittery nu disco along the same lines as Escort and Midnight Magic with a distinctly retro vibe that reminds us of the finest parts of Moloko’s back catalogue.
