Chorltonites rejoice! Wilbraham Road’s finest eatery and drinkery turns four and they’re throwing you a party – with free alcoholic beverages and a ridiculous array of free fodder (barbecue pork ribs, crab cakes, sweet potato chips and more) thrown in for good measure. The party also sees the launch of Elektrik’s lastest ale experiment in the form of Live Wire – a 5% chestnut-coloured ale with a deep, intense, malty flavour. Music is provided by James Holroyd, Huw Morgan and Oli Bangbala & his mate. With a free evening of great (free) food, new (free) drink and good (also free) music on offer, it’s well worth hopping on the Metro.
