AV show: Electronic Empires at Band on the Wall

Band on the Wall’s #NewNorthSouth series continues with the specially commissioned Electronic Empires ensemble. Fusing audio and visual interpretations of Indian-British relations 71 years on from partition, the show aims to envelop its audience’s senses in an immersive experience that cultivates imagery captured from trips to Manchester and various locations across India. Guest sound artists include Manchester-based Jaydev Mistry, who crafts his own electronic instruments and recently scored a short film at the popular Video Jam event.
