Serving a ‘perfect mix of all the traditional trimmings’ with decadent flair, Embankment Kitchen has launched a Festive Set Menu featuring three courses of exquisite seasonal dishes, available every night of the week.
To begin, diners can enjoy hearty caramelised onion soup, a silky wild mushroom and hazelnut pate or a deeply rich ox cheek raviolo with a chestnut and sage velouté.
Mains include customary roast turkey, served as a ballotine alongside goose fat potatoes, pigs in blankets and cranberry sauce, as well as roast beef sirloin, sea bass risotto or a vegan salted beetroot and orange wellington, accompanied by rosemary and garlic potatoes in a pine nut and basil sauce.
All mains are served with complimentary roasted and steamed seasonal vegetables, gravy and a selection of sauces, suffusing the festive dinner with a homely, familial, ‘around-the-table’ atmosphere.
For dessert, guests can choose from a sumptuous Christmas pudding, buttermilk pannacotta or a vegan blood orange and passionfruit tart.
For aperitifs and nightcaps, EK’s bar is open from 4pm daily and offers a specially curated array of Winter Cocktails, including EK Mulled Wine, The Drunken Gingerbread Man – an indulgent cream-topped hot chocolate with a generous measure of gingerbread rum – the Winter Spiced Negroni and the Orange Chocolatini.
From 4pm-6pm, EK’s bar runs a Happy Hour during which guests can enjoy 2 pints for £9 and 2 classic cocktails or 2 large glasses of wine for just £12.
Located just across from Cathedral Gardens and a short stroll from Exchange Square, Embankment Kitchen offers the perfect seasonal solace after a day browsing the Christmas Markets.
