Promising a night of ‘exquisite entertainment’ featuring fabulous burlesque, intricate spoken word and more, Ember & The Vixens return to Manchester Art Gallery with a glittering Christmas Cabaret on Sat 16 Dec.
Brimming with flair, fun and female empowerment, Selina Helliwell’s deliciously opulent seasonal show transforms the gallery’s breathtaking main atrium into a sensuous, sparkling winter wonderland for one night only, following a series of wildly successful sell-out performances around the city including the Valentine’s Vixens, a previous takeover of Manchester Art Gallery and their recent Creepy Cabaret Halloween event.
Led by Helliwell as the inimitable Ember Travixen with the ever-popular MC Jas Nisic as host and singer, the festive foxes host a joyous night of mesmerising music, stirring spoken word and triumphant liberation with performers from the worlds of burlesque, circus, music and poetry, as well as an array of additional treats on the night – including a Christmas favour at every place setting.
