Envirolution is a Manchester-based conservation cooperative that hosts an annual festival aimed at promoting sustainable living. This year’s event will take place on Saturday 24 May, in and around the eco-arts garden in Platt Fields Park. The day will feature workshops, plays and competitions, plus stalls selling organic foods and locally sourced produce, with local bands performing throughout the event. The festival is suitable for the whole family, with a children’s play area, and also some serious debates and discussions for the adults. Over five thousand people attended last year’s festival – and Envirolution is expecting an even bigger turnout this time around. Contact the organisers if you would like to volunteer to help.
