Mayfield’s socially distanced urban hotspot, Escape to Freight Island, is offering a delicious and exciting new addition to its already popular food and entertainment venue, Platform 15. Having delivered some of the UK’s most revered bars, restaurants and music over summer, the team behind the venue are set to unveil their latest addition, The Ticket Hall, this winter.

Already offering a variety of tasty treats from the likes of grill house Baratxuri and burger bar Patty Queen, The Ticket Hall will bring a whole new set of restaurants and vendors to Platform 15, including Manchester’s own Sugo Pasta Kitchen as well as the award-winning family-run Vietnamese restaurant, Mi &Pho. The Ticket Hall is fully equipped with heaters to keep you toasty on the upcoming chilly winter nights and if that’s not enough, you can always warm up with a drink in one of their taprooms run by Camden Town Brewery and Pomona, or brand new cocktail bar pop-up from Ancoats favourite, The Jane Eyre.

To cater for an influx of festive new arrivals, the venue will double its capacity limit and also feature a wealth of undercover areas to cater to the temperamental Manchester weather. You can even cycle down and leave your bike in their new bike cloakroom, which will be run in partnership with cycle-wear brand Rapha. This new addition to the site will debut on Friday 30 October and run throughout the winter. Pop down for some socially distanced fun!
