Eyes Down’s recent revival was an extremely welcome addition to Manchester’s clubbing landscape – the long-established Eyes Down team has had a huge influence on Manchester’s scene down the years, offering a blend of eclecticism with none of the pretension often associated with ‘digging deep’. This September’s event marks an astonishing 15 years in the game, and DJs Kelvin Brown and Jon K will be using all that experience to give Manchester one more party Eyes Down stylee. Also making a long-awaited homecoming is MC DRS, another Manchester legend, and another element of those legendary parties at Band On The Wall and The Roadhouse all those years ago. With visuals provided by the Changeling DJs, this promises to be as vital as ever and never collapsing into a novelty nostalgia-fest.
