It’s a packed end to a busy year for Albert’s hall and castle (aka Schloss), whose Peter Street HQ has NYE sewn up with a choice of cabaret or sets by guests from the breakout label of the decade, Black Butter. Rudimental, Clean Bandit, Redlight and Bodhi are just a few names on their roster. On the ground floor of the Grade II-listed entertainment emporium is Albert’s Schloss, celebrating its first new year since raising its portcullis to the public in October. They’re tight-lipped on the details, apart from its cabaret theme, songs from Haus Boheme and Deviant Disco’s collections spinning and a special live band performing. Expect the German-themed cook haus and bier palace to be alive and kicking as the annual clock is ticking down. Upstairs, there’s room for a few thousand revellers to share David Rodigan’s sights and sounds through his reggae-tinted specs. The Ram Jam roots connoisseur joins the likes of Rudimental and Oneman on a varied bill crammed with tubthumping dance anthems.
