Urgent, necessary and profoundly insightful, the stunning new film Every Body explores and investigates the remarkable lives of intersex people at HOME from Fri 15 Dec.

Hailed as ‘a joyful celebration of identity’ by Total Film, Every Body tells the stories of three courageous individuals who have each navigated childhoods marred by shame, secrecy and non-consensual surgeries to lead a thriving adulthood of self-acceptance after foregoing conventional medical advice to come out as their authentic, unapologetic selves.

The film follows actor and screenwriter River Gallo (they/them), political consultant Alicia Roth Weigel (she/they), and Ph.D. student Sean Saifa Wall (he/him), who have become proud, pioneering leaders in an emerging worldwide movement advocating for greater understanding of the intersex community and an end to unnecessary and deeply destructive surgeries.

Featuring exclusive archive footage and an overarching tale of shocking medical abuse, Every Body shines a light on the ongoing treatment of intersex people and the countless obstacles faced by those who wish only to live freely and without persecution.
