Manchester’s Ivor Novello Award-winning art-rockers Everything Everything are curating a week of collaborative events and experiments at the newly reopened Central Library, with the aim of shaking up what we think about archives in the 21st Century. Using Central Library’s multifaceted and diverse resources as a springboard, the band will present a season of free events, including installations, performances and interactive activities. The season is called Chaos To Order, a name derived from the band’s attraction to the chaos inherent in the interconnected world we live in. It’s part of Library Live, a series of events happening throughout the year. Watch this space for more details as they are announced.
Mon 10 – Sat 15 Nov, Central Library, St Peters Square, M2 5PD. Tel: 0161 234 1983, times vary, FREE, www.manchester.gov.uk
