Everything you need to know about Oasis at Heaton Park: Stage times, supports & curfew

Ahead of what promises to be a spectacular culmination to some of the biggest dates in Manchester’s illustrious musical history, here’s everything you need to know about Oasis’ huge homecoming gigs at Heaton Park this weekend.

Plan ahead and arrive early

Unsurprisingly, large crowds are expected, so allow plenty of time to travel and arrive early, gates will open at 3pm.

• • Shuttle Buses from Lever Street (Northern Quarter) direct to Heaton Park are nearly sold out – buses start from 1:30pm. If there are tickets still available on the day these can be purchased in person on Lever Street. No online purchases will be available on the day.   • Coach tickets from cities across the UK direct into Heaton Park are still available via the Big Green Coach website HERE
  • Trams will be running regularly from Victoria Station, off Exchange Square, City Centre. More information can be found HERE
  • A signed walking route is available to Heaton Park from Exchange Square. More information can be found HERE
  • There is no car parking available anywhere in the vicinity of Heaton Park. 

Can I take water bottles into Oasis at Heaton Park?

Ticketholders will be permitted to bring a sealed bottle of water up to 500ml. This must be collapsible plastic. Solid plastic, metal etc containers will not be permitted on the grounds of safety.

Bottles with broken seals will be emptied. There is free water to refill your bottle on site. Wear sunscreen, you will be permitted to bring in a small bottle 200ml or under and protect yourself from the sun overall and wear a hat.

Cast: 6pm

Oasis: 8.15pm

Curfew 10.30pm

Arguably the most culturally important UK music artist since the Beatles, we have waited a long time for this moment with Oasis live on stage. There is a huge team of professionals who have been working hard to put this event together for you, so now it’s up to you to have the time of your life. Please prepare thoroughly. How are you getting to and from the site? From City Centre we advise you book the Shuttle Bus from the Northern Quarter direct to the site. From further afield there are bespoke coaches from Big Green direct to and from site and trams will be running. There is also a very well signposted walking route from Victoria Station to Heaton Park which will take around an hour. There is no car parking in the vicinity.

We will be open all afternoon so make your journey as early in the day as your plans will allow and then relax in the beer garden we have created for you in Heaton Park Look after yourself, look after your friends and behave responsibly.
