This March, Italian dancer and choreographer Marco D’Agostin brings Best Regards to The Lowry, a touching tribute to his beloved mentor, the late, great Nigel Charnock. Ahead of the performance, we’ve teamed up with The Lowry, meaning Wire readers can get tickets to the spectacular show for just £10.

Regarded as one of the UK’s most influential ever dancers, Mancunian-born Charnock was co-founder of the iconic DV8 Physical Theatre. Marco met and worked with Charnock back in 2010, and in Best Regards, he delivers an apt celebration of an unmistakable legacy that changed the way he viewed dance forever.

The production, which is set against a striking LED curtain, sees Marco marry text, song and dance for a performance that swings between joy and melancholy.

Prior to the show, artist, filmmaker and producer Graham Clayton Chance will also be displaying notebooks, letters, photographs and other material about Charnock in the foyer, and there will also be a post-performance talk between him and Marco.

Marco D’Agostin’s Best Regards comes to The Lowry on Tue 5 Mar. You can book your tickets using the button below. Use the promo code WIRE10 to claim your exclusive £10 tickets (maximum 4 per transaction).
