The Art Of The Brick is something of a cause célèbre for lego aficionados around the UK and beyond. The exhibition, which has travelled around the world on the international stage, has been described by CNN as a ‘must-see exhibition’ and is now open at Manchester’s Great Northern Warehouse for its debut residency in the city from Friday 22 November 2019 to April of next year. The Art Of The Brick features 75 pieces of Lego-based sculpture, with the emphasis on demonstrating the potential that Lego has in an artistic context. There will also be a chance to see pieces never previously displayed in the UK, so this is an opportunity to catch a number of exciting firsts, including iconic builds like a reproduction of the Mona Lisa in LEGO form. Prices vary from £9.50 for children; £14.50 for Adults, with family-based and concession tickets on offer too.
