Returning for another family-friendly instalment on Sun 29 Jun, Explore@RNCM presents a mesmerising day of music, creativity and shared experiences for just £10 a guest.
From live performances, hands-on workshops and circus skills to festival food, face-painting and the fabulous RNCM House Band, the fun-filled afternoon offers something for everyone to enjoy in a memorable day out for music-lovers of all ages.
This year’s performance highlights include a brand-new semi-staged operetta by the RNCM Community Chorus, an energetic show packed with drums, singing and dancing by West African group Tanante, a captivating Tocum Capoeira display, a circus spectacular and a soaring recital by the Bharatiya Vrund Gaan Indian Choir.
For visitors seeking interactive excitement, Explore@RNCM hosts a wondrously eclectic programme of activity sessions throughout the afternoon, including Craig Winterburn’s serene sound bath session, vibrant South Asian folk dancing from the Punjab region led by the Manchester Bhangra Society, globe-trotting dance forms with leaders from the award-winning Afrocats charity and a Community Chorus Singalong for budding adult choral singers of all abilities.
