Following sell-out successes of the FAIR PLAY all-dayer in April 2022 and 2023, the event is set to return in 2024, taking over a host of iconic Northern Quarter venues.

In partnership with Albert Hall, Interior and Do Your Best, FAIR PLAY is dedicated to providing equal opportunities for all, featuring a diverse lineup that’s fair and accessible, inclusive of genre, gender, sexuality, race and beyond.

Next year’s festival will be taking place on Sat 6 Apr, with a lineup already boasting a broad range of talent from across the globe.

So far, the billing includes iconic electronic music performer, DJ, singer and songwriter Marie Davidson, gothic-meets-hardcore-meets-hip-hop interdisciplinary artist Denzel Himself, the return of Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard with new material, infectious melodies explosive dynamic changes and rich harmonies from Ugly and London based Finnish-British artist otta who unfortunately had to cancel last year’s appearance due to illness.

Also appearing will be Cowboyy, who were the talk of the town at The Great Escape last May, a ritualistic mash-up of folksong, yelping punk and mesmeric drone from The New Eves; Skydaddy who is one-half of Spang Sisters, BRIT School graduate, cellist, pianist and singer Blossom Caldarone; players of a visceral, expressive fusion of garage rock and post-punk Imperial Wax and experimental brother-sister duo of Amelia and Huw Lloyd aka SLAP RASH.

Each year, FAIR PLAY hosts an independent record label to curate part of the lineup. This year the festival welcomes London-based PRAH Recordings who are celebrating their 1oth anniversary. As part of their curated acts PRAH Recordings are bringing acid folk, prog, jazz and ambient music from MF Tomlinson, rising North London-based, self-titled dysfunctional rapper and visual artist TaliaBle, brother-sister duo Dominic and Fionnuala Kennedy aka uh and many more.

FAIR PLAY 2024 will be taking place across Band On The Wall, SOUP, Gullivers, The Castle Hotel, and The Peer Hat. The latter of which will feature the late-night FAIR PLAY karaoke, hosted by local drag performers.
