The crew behind renowned food fair Grub swing open the doors of Fairfield Social Club (also hosting the ExtraVEGANza and Winter Beer Festival this month) to the Manchester music scene. Located opposite Piccadilly Station and just beyond the Star & Garter, it’s been a badly kept secret to foodies in recent months (i.e. massively popular) but 2018 will see the venue expand its remit to other uses, including bands, club nights and even the odd wedding. Headlining the venue’s first ever band night are Trojan Horse: an experimental, prog, punk, electronic melange of sounds who, for the occasion, will be playing their album Fukushima Surfer Boys live for the first time. Support comes from two-piece Cassie, math rock troika Pfaff  and the mysterious Minno.
