A brand new multi-space events venue is set to open in Manchester’s Red Bank neighbourhood as part of the major Victoria North regeneration programme.

Fairfield Social Club, from the creative team behind the popular street food specialists, GRUB, will be located just off Angel Meadow Park and is due to open in March next year.

Plans for the site, which are currently going through the approval process, include ‘Manchester’s greenest beer garden’ serving craft beer, hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks, a classic wine list and a selection of flame-grilled street food from the barbecue.

The club will also be home to an impressive schedule of collaborative supper clubs from the best indie chefs in the region providing an elevated dining experience.

With a total capacity of 500 across the site, the clubs event space will host a broad range of events, including film screenings, live comedy, wedding fairs, and artist Q&As. These events will focus on up-and-coming local artists and performers.

With a big focus on the community, Fairfield Social will prioritise inclusivity, making women feel safe at the venue, and giving back to the surrounding area. As part of this, the club has pledged to make a donation for every single drink poured and ticket purchased to a local social cause.

The Victoria North regeneration programme is being led by developer Far East Consortium, a group aiming to transform the Red Bank area. Its experience-led retail and leisure meanwhile-use strategy from FOUND, has created a hub of independent restaurants and venues including Love Factory, Green Arches Brewery, Half Dozen Other bakery and the incredible Sparrows.

Jake Scott-Thrale, Asset Manager at FEC, said: Having worked with the team at GRUB for a while now, we know that they will be able to deliver another exciting venue for the people of Red Bank and the wider city centre.

The ethos of FOUND is to create spaces where the community can come together, meet and socialise and Fairfield Social Club provides the perfect setting for this while also complimenting the existing hospitality providers at Red Bank. We are looking forward to the opening and welcoming even more people to this exciting new neighbourhood.”
