Father’s Day looms large on the not-too-distant horizon, but Peter Street favourite Albert’s Schloss have taken care of proceedings with Our Father, an afternoon of pampering and quality ‘he’ time for fathers across Manchester. As expected, the Bavarian bier palace will be putting on a special Father’s Day spread to tuck into, including lemon and thyme chicken with a summer potato salad and proper gravy, with something sweet after with a triple chocolate cheesecake, served with a decadent scoop of white chocolate ice cream. Patrons can also treat themselves to a trim from Deansgate’s very own Barber Barber, taking over The Study from 1pm until 5pm to offer gentlemen’s haircuts, beard trims, clipper cuts and hair and beard taming. Launched by Johnny Shanahan, Barber Barber UK first opened in Manchester back in November 2013, now with seven stores across the UK and an internationally-acclaimed academy. Those dining on the day can also book online in advance to get their hands on a complimentary Maker’s Mark cocktail.
