Band on the Wall welcomes funky Nigerian septet Femi and the Inrhythms for a Manchester show as part of a UK tour this June. Formed by Lagos-based bassist Femi Sofela, the band’s feelgood take on afrobeat’s infectious rhythmic heritage combines guitars, drums, percussion and vibrant keytar to enlivened dancefloors across the globe. Expect tunes from their debut album, Pressure To Pleasure, which scored 8/10 on the online world music aficionado Rhythm Passport.
