Festive: Hatch celebrates Christmas with Evergreen takeover featuring food, drink and seasonal events

Hatch, one of Manchester’s coolest cultural destinations, will host a programme of festive events from their diverse and creative space nestled under the Mancunian Way this Christmas. Evergreen: A Festival of Winter and Christmas is taking place all throughout December, with Hatch itself transforming into a winter hideaway complete with festive greenery and foliage, creating a welcoming and cosy space. Enjoy special menus of alternative festive food and drink offerings, including white mulled wine at on-site wine bar Vin-Yard. You can get some sustainable Christmas shopping done too, with a Zero-Waste Christmas Market taking place from the Friday 29 until Saturday 30 November, and an Afflecks x Hatch shopping special on Saturday 14 December, bringing all the indie charm of Afflecks Palace to Hatch for the coolest Christmas shopping around. There are all sorts of creative events taking place in the run up to Christmas too, with urban florist Bulb hosting workshops every Tuesday from 6-7pm showing you how to make the most of festive foliage in your home. Plus, all of the venue’s traders will be opening until 8pm each Thursday evening, allowing for some late-night, last minute present buying.
