There can’t be many more comedy tour titles more satisfyingly apt than Harry Hill’s Sausage Time. Those two words placed side by side pretty much sum up a couple of hours spent in Hill’s company and his anarchically silly approach to comedy. After spending many years in TV land with only his overfed shirt collars, an ambiguous woolly creature and angry stuffed shark for company he’s back out on tour. And we’re glad to have you back Harry. Last time he toured watching him work the large room at the Lowry was mesmerising, his audience demographic ranged from 9 to 90 yet, like a good episode of the Simpsons, he managed to make everyone chortle and even snuck in some adult gags without the kids noticing. There’s only a handful of tickets left for his two dates this week, so go get ’em, you don’t want to miss out on them sausages.
