Film / gig: Nick Cave’s One More Time With Feeling at Didsbury Cineworld

To celebrate the release of Nick Cave’s sixteenth studio album, Skeleton Tree, Cineworld Didsbury are screening a unique one night only event of Andrew Dominik’s experimental music film, One More Time with Feeling on Thursday 8 September. This is prior to the release of Skeleton Tree and the film offers Cave fans the opportunity to hear the albums before anyone else. Like Cave himself, Dominik has created something truly singular in his most recent film. Working with black and white and 3D technology, the director was influenced by stereopticons from the 1950s and 3D’s immersing ability to project the ‘live’ feeling of the album upon the audience.
