For one night – or early evening – only, the Hallé Orchestra and The Bridgewater Hall present an hour of inspiring, calming and achingly beautiful music in a special performance on Thu 10 Nov.

Offering an entirely unique opportunity to abandon the post-work commute in favour of a soothing micro-concert of iconic classical works, the Hallé welcomes the exceptional Finnish conductor Tarmo Peltokoski to direct and present the show. Alongside him, renowned pianist and fellow countryman Anton Mejias is set to deliver a flawless, breathtaking rendition of Profokiev’s Second Piano Concerto, before Sibelius’ ‘theatrical and triumphant’ Fifth Symphony concludes the show with its ‘Swan Hymn’ – widely considered one of the greatest finales of all time.

While already an irresistible prospect, an hour of world-class musicians playing one of Europe’s most acclaimed concert halls costs just £10 all in, or just £2 if you’re in full-time education.

Head to the Hallé website to book tickets for a truly outstanding rush hour experience.
