Chorlton’s popular ‘rice and three’ eatery, Chapati Café, is gearing up to launch a brand new venue at Media City UK. Due to open its doors on Monday 8 March, the café will bring the flavours of the Gujarat region of India’s famous curries to Salford, taking inspiration from homemade Indian food and featuring light and invigorating curry and vegetable dishes.

With its curry offering being rotated every week, customers will be able to sample a myriad of different flavours from this fantastic new independent space. The team at Chapati Café have designed their new venue to not only accommodate customers in the store itself, but for their products to be taken away and enjoyed elsewhere. In the coming months, the team – spearheaded by husband and wife founders Dan Hall and Priti Chauhan-Hall – aim to put together a simple Indian breakfast menu featuring an Indian take on a classic bacon sandwich.

Chapati Café will join an already-vibrant cultural scene at Media City UK, setting up shop alongside coffee experts Grindsmith and plant-based food lovers Vertigo Eatery. They are also ecologically responsible when it comes to their products, as their boxes are renewable and bio-degradable. If you’re looking to break away from the traditional crisp and sandwich lunch, why not spice it up by paying Chapati Café a visit. Find out more by visiting their website.
