202 Kitchen – the hot-pink Instagrammable bar and restaurant – has announced that it’ll open its new Manchester flagship store on Thursday 15 July. Having successfully debuted its first restaurant in Birmingham last year, the Instagram-inspired venue launched a pop-up unit on Bridge Street in Deansgate during lockdown between August and November 2020.

Now, the venue will relocate to the heart of Spinningfields, taking over the former Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Zizzi units to create a new 7000 square foot restaurant and bar overlooking the River Irwell. The space will house 200 covers and give guests the option to enjoy outdoor waterside cocktails or even venture indoors to snap a picture of their lavish pink surroundings.

202 Kitchen’s new Manchester site will become the brand’s flagship venue, creating over 100 hospitality jobs and providing delicious junk food favourites and colourful cocktails, perfect for a post-lockdown summer. Their enclosed outdoor area is designed to suit all weather occasions and is set against an Instagram-inspired backdrop that’ll fill your social media pals with FOMO.

Meanwhile, their menu will include indulgent street food cuisine with a 202 twist, including mac ‘n’ cheese, waffles, fried chicken, burgers and even some seafood options. For more information or to register for priority access once bookings open, visit the 202 Kitchen website.
