Stitched Up workshop and sewing centre was founded in 2011 and are well known in the area thanks to clothes making, mending and upcycling workshops both at their Chorlton HQ and out and about in Greater Manchester. The team behind the venture are branching out on the third Saturday of every month, with a new, free service offering to repair everything and anything you can think of.  The idea is that the Manchester Repair Cafe will be held monthly, with tools and volunteer repairers on hand to help visitors to fix their broken electricals, furniture, clothing and bikes. All you need to do is bring along broken items on the day, and the team will do their best to help repair them. Volunteers are very welcome to pop in too and sign up to help out at future sessions.
