Fontaines D.C. are set for their biggest-ever Manchester headline show at Wythenshawe Park next summer.

The announcement comes fresh from the release of the band’s fourth record, Romance, which has been met with huge critical acclaim — Elton John even dubbed them “the best band out there at the moment.”

Support comes from Irish-language Hip Hop sensations, Kneecap, whose own reputation has skyrocketed this year following the release of their album, Fine Art, and several high-profile festival appearances.

Also joining will be 2024 Mercury Prize winner, English Teacher — the first act from outside London to win the prestigious prize since Young Fathers in 2014.

Fontaines are also set for three sold-out shows at Aviva Studios this autumn, making this the only chance for fans to bag tickets to see them in Manchester.

The show marks the latest instalment of Live at Wythenshawe Park, which has welcomed the likes of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Blossoms and New Order since launching two years ago.

Fontaines D.C. will perform at Wythenshawe Park on Fri 15 Aug. For those signed up to the Fontaines D.C. presale, tickets will be available on Wed 2 Oct at 9am. Sign up to the presale HERE. General sale tickets will follow on Fri 4 Oct at 9am.
