Spend your Wednesdays at Wood
Usually the theatre and five course tasting menus are only available until 6.30 at Wood but, for those looking for a mid-week treat, you can enjoy them all night on a Wednesday. For £22.50 you can get 2 courses off the theatre menu, or 3 courses for £27.50. For just shy of £50 you can try the 5 course blind tasting menu, which is a great way to introduce yourself to Simon Wood’s cooking without having to go for the full blow weekend tasting menu. Three tapas for £15 at Canto
Ancoats’ Portuguese neighbourhood restaurant aims to entice those from the surrounding area to make it the go to spot for a tapas bite with their 3 tapas for £15 deal. On Wednesday through to Saturday you can enjoy the offer until 7pm and on Sunday it’s all day. With dishes including their caramelised cauliflower and the pil pil cod included in the offer, and their delightful almond tart, it’ll be hard to stick at just 3.

Bock’s Roast Fondue
If you’re someone who feels that roast dinners should be for more than just a Sunday, you’ll be happy to dive into Bock’s decadent roast fondue offer. Every Sunday and Monday, the belgian beer bar offers a slow roasted beef brisket or chicken as well as potatoes and a belgian waffle style Yorkshire pud to dip in red wine gravy for £30 for two people. Flok – platter for £20 with two large glasses of wine
The Northern Quarter’s suntrap and bar, Flok, has relaunched its food menu, offering a selection of platters as well as pies and Scotch Eggs from local producer, Beehive. For £20, guests can get two large glasses of wine and a small platter to nibble on, or two pints of their new collaboration beer with Saltire brewery. Perfect for when the sun comes out and the outside gets mobbed.

Ramen & Bun for £15 at Shoryu Ramen
Every lunchtime at Piccadilly Gardens’ ramen joint, you can get a ramen and a bun for just £15.
