Lupo Caffè Italiano is moving
The fabulous Italian cafe is moving from Chapel Street to the Boat Shed building on Exchange Quay. Former Manchester Food and Drink Award winners for Best Coffee Bar, Lupo Caffè Italiano is renowned as a place for authentic coffee and traditional Italian food like their delicious Tiramisu and Pasta alla Amatriciana with Guanciale(pig cheek). With over 70 local independent arts and crafts stalls being hosted in the resplendent surroundings of Manchester Cathedral, this weekend’s free market is the place to stock up on lovely presents for those easy and difficult to buy for alike. A DJ with vintage sounds will provide the soundtrack, pus the tea room and The Gin Society’s bar has your back to quench thirst whilst browsing.

Eat cheap & be on TV with Spinningfield’s Million Pound Menu investment show
Throughout November, 12 food concepts and pop-ups take over Spinningfields for a new BBC Two restaurant investment show called Million Pound Menu. Upcoming restaurants taking part include Cuban street food Liverpudlians Finca, local vegan outfit Wholesome Junkies, Black Bear Burgers, raw cookie dough creations from Naked Dough, contemporary British cooking from Bubble&, plant-based Asian food from Dynasty, and classical seasonal cooking from Hollings. This month’s supper club collaboration between GRUB and Runaway Brewery welcomes local seafood specialists Holy Crab to the kitchen. Held in the tap room looking out over the brewery, your ticket price includes a four course menu with a matched beer for each dish. Tuna sashimi with pickled beetroot and blackberry ketchup kicks the fishy menu off, followed by mussels, parsnip and smoked cod roe on soda toast with sea herbs.
