New Sunday brunch menu at El Gato Negro
Already one of the most popular spots for a special meal in Manchester, El Gato Negro has thrown its Spanish hat into the ring for the place to go for your Sunday brunch too. Obviously, this being El Gato, there is a Spanish take on the dishes – think potatoes roasted in jamon Serrano butter, broccoli in rioja sauce, and cauliflower cheese with Manchego. Alongside an expanded brunch menu, it might be just the place to settle in for the 10 hours its open on a Sunday.

Coming soon? Franco Manca Manchester
The pizza craze may seem more like it has now settled in to people just really liking pizzas nowadays but Franco Manca was one of the places to spearhead the hot pizza trend. Now it seems that over a decade since their first Brixton spot, the sourdough pizza experts are set to open up in Manchester. Details are scarce and the company have made no comments but an advert for staff to work in Manchester would suggest they’ll need a restaurant to work at. Watch this space for more…
