Open Kitchen Cafe & Bar is  hosting the first of a season of events inspired by their motto: sustainable – ethical – delicious. Their first evening event “Sustainable Wine Tasting – Wines of the UK” will be a sustainable wine tasting, hosted in partnership with our friends at C&O Wines. Participants will be sampling wines from the fabulous Bolney Wine Estate in Kent, who have had sustainable land management at the heart of their operation since 1972. Wines from the UK are winning significant recognition internationally in recent years, and purchasing locally produced wines is a great way to reduce the “carbon miles” of your food and drink.

The evening will begin with a glass of English fizz on arrival. Nathan from C&O Wines will then take visitors through a selection of white, rose, and red wines from the Bolney Estate. The evening will sample 6 wines in total. Table snacks will be provided to match the flavour profiles of the wines, and guests will be guided through which snacks bring out the profiles of each wine. A wider small plates menu will be available on the evening to purchase. Bottles of the sampled wines will also be available to purchase to take home. A full bar will be open all night for additional drinks.

Thu 23 Sep, Event starts at 7pm with English fizz on arrival, guided wine tasting begins at 7.30pm, Open Kitchen ,
