Food fest: Grub to host free Latin American Food Festival this weekend at the Mayfield

The sunny summertime weather may be gone (for now at least) – but the rain isn’t putting a dampener on Grub’s plans to host a celebration of Latin American-inspired food this weekend at The Mayfield. The street-food favourites will be following up their recent Burger festival with another weekend long takeover (their third so far), this time showcasing the best Latin American food vendors from across the North West and beyond. Taking place between Fri 30 Aug – Sun 01 Sep, the popular Piccadilly-based brew-tap and food spot will welcome a host of traders, including squished sandwich specialists Press De Cuba, Mexican food favourites Twisted Meal, South American street food servers The Greedy Gringo, smoke-fired treats from The Little Urban BBQ plus loads more, including a handful of vegan and vegetarian treats too. The best part? It’s all completely free to attend – all you need to bring with you is an empty stomach and a healthy appetite.
