Chef Tom Kerridge is heading to Manchester to launch his first restaurant in the city at the upcoming Stock Exchange Hotel which is due to take over a renovated Edwardian building on Norfolk Street this Autumn. Kerridge’s Marlow eatery The Hand and Flowers is the proud owner of two Michelin stars and the Chef promises to bring a bit of that same magic up North with him when this brand new luxury hotel from footballers Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville’s GC Hospitality opens its doors. The award-winning Chef will oversee the restaurant on-site and guide the direction of its food and beverages after taking over from Michael O’Hare of Urbis restaurant Rabbit in the Moon who parted ways with Giggs and Neville late last year. “This is a really exciting opening for us,” says Kerridge. “The hotel is going to be stunning and we’re very happy to be working with CG Hospitality. We can’t say much at this stage, but I can say that we’ll be bringing a bit of Marlow up to Manchester. We’re very much looking forward to being part of the city and joining the exciting and vibrant Manchester food scene.”
