Food news: Ex-Masterchef contestant Marika Healey opens Embankment Kitchen on Chapel Street

Chapel Street has gained itself another celebrity resident to go with the other glitzy stars in CitySuites aparthotel as Masterchef: The Professionals ex-contestant Marika Healey heads up the newly opened Embankment Kitchen. Located inside the building at the bottom of Victoria Bridge Street, Healey is aiming for a modern British brasserie feel, serving dishes ranging from breakfast to dinner, alongside a selection of cocktails and coffee, making the space a stylish, multi-purpose venue perfect for both meetings and meals. Those with an appetite can tuck into the likes of Wild Boar Pappardelle pasta or a 28 day aged Hereford fillet steak, with a selection of superfood salads also appearing on the restaurant’s extensive menu alongside brunch options and a full continental breakfast. In addition to a relaxed dining experience, Healey’s 80-cover restaurant will also offer private rooms and even a big screen which will screen sporting events – perfect for certain football managers who may reside there.
