Homegrown southern Italian restaurant, Sugo Pasta Kitchen, is set to open a third outlet in Sale later this year. The team announced the plans on social media earlier today (Tue 16 Feb) with a postcode teaser. Operations manager, Jay Smith told us that a Sale restaurant is in the pipeline: “Sale is about to undergo a massive regeneration” he told us, adding that a host of cool independent food and drink operators (such as Cork of the North, Grapefruit cafe, and Groceries and Beer by the General Stores team) are already there – and there are many more to follow. New arrivals coming soon include a third branch for Sugo Pasta Kitchen and a new outlet from the team behind Altrincham’s Blanchflower.  Smith said “Sale is looking full of promise”, adding that Sale town centre is likely to become an established destination for food and drink fans over the next couple of years, complimenting other regional hotspots such as Altrincham Market.
