The former Odd spot on Thomas Street, which had a short-lived emergence as vegan cafe Folk and Soul, is set to welcome another new tenant. Wilderness Bar & Kitchen seems set for a July launch as they expand past their Withington record store base. Having opened up just this past July on Egerton Crescent, the quick expansion into a Northern Quarter base should come as no surprise when the pedigree of the people behind it is noted. Lyndon Higson of Crazy Pedro’s amongst others, has created the venture alongside Dan Morris, ex of Trof, and Bart Murphy and Mat Lake of Junkyard Golf. Having previously stated that they believe they’ve attracted some of the best young food and drink talent in the UK to head up this venture, it looks set to be an exciting addition to a Thomas Street already set to welcome weekend evening pedestrianisation from June 14th.
