Worried you won’t be able to get your donut fix whilst working at home? Don’t fret – the Northern Quarter’s resident doughnut hotspot Siop Shop has launched a brand new delivery service that can keep you coasting on a sugary high until normality returns. By calling their dedicated telephone hotline on 0800 00 96 701, customers can place their orders and have them delivered straight to their door. As it stands, the cafe is only delivering its trademark doughnuts – many of which are gluten free and suitable for vegans – with more food available for delivery in the coming days. This new initiative comes as a variety of Manchester’s small, independent businesses have been forced to expand their sales techniques to combat health concerns caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.
