Running from Tue 12 – Thu 14 Mar, a mind-bending new co-production from Imitating The Dog and Leeds Playhouse brings a gripping, breathtakingly inventive take on Frankenstein to The Lowry.

Inspired by Mary Shelley’s timeless novel, Frankenstein promises an immersive and uniquely suspenseful experience for seasoned theatre-lovers and newcomers alike, as a gathering storm transforms a couple’s unremarkable home into a terrifying labyrinth of chaos where everyday objects morph into glaciers, seafaring ships, a dissecting room and a house on fire.

Forced to confront their fears around parenthood as impossible horrors manifest around them, the couple must reckon with what it means to be human as the spellbinding multimedia stage set fills the room with all-consuming tension.
