The much-loved live venue, restaurant and bar is pulling out all its big guns for a seventh birthday party to remember. On the ones and twos across all three Deaf Institute floors will be the resident tune selectors responsible for countless floor-filling grooves over the years: expect hip-hop from Gold Teeth, indie rock from Goo and Bare Bones, 60s Britpop and psych from Electric Jug, pure, unabashed pop from Pop and plenty more besides. So bring your sturdiest dancing shoes because they’re not stopping at the music. Sideshows and games on the night will include face painting, jugglers, dancers and hula hoopers, plus wheel of fortune prize give-aways. Free is the magic number on Saturday 23 May, with cake, shots, booze and nibbles all on the house. Be sure to grab your complimentary advance ticket via the link below.
