With free popcorn and free entry, 2022’s new film night, Cine City looks like the kind of budget protecting fun everyone can enjoy. This first one is a double bill of films looking at life on campus. Damsels in Distress is Whit Stillman’s 2011 Ivy League campus comedy, starring Greta Gerwig (Greenberg, Frances Ha) while John “Thriller” Landis’s frat boy classic, National Lampoon’s Animal House (1978) needs little introduction.
