Explore how literature deals with climate change as scientist and author Clare Dudman joins Rodge Glass (pictured, author of three novels including Bring Me the Head of Ryan Giggs and a Somerset Maugham Award-winning biography of Alasdair Gray) and Gregory Norminton (author of four novels including the acclaimed Serious Things and creative writing teacher at MMU) to discuss Beacons, a new collection of original stories by major UK authors. Contributors include Joanne Harris, Toby Litt, Laurence Norfolk, Liz Jensen and A L Kennedy. It’s a serious subject that’s got the backing of some serious talent. Here’s hoping for the literary version of Alfonso Cuaron’s dystopian future thriller, Children of Men.
