We’ve all passed by the Hat Museum on the train and wondered what devilment goes on inside. Well, one thing is the Manchester Print Fair, which will be taking place there in early February. Here, you can spend your Groundhog Day browsing through stalls from local designers and makers. You’ll find all the best vendors from the local area and beyond. A free event, it showcases all kinds of printed design, including: artist’s books, magazines, posters, postcards, and even tea towels. There will also be workshops where you can learn many different artistic skills. The full details haven’t been released yet, but keep an eye on the website below for more info. There’s a special museum trail for families, so you can enjoy the museum’s two floors of interactive exhibits. The event is presented in association with Open Spaces, a community artwork project based in Stockport Old Town.
